Welcome to the Autumn Realm, the wealthiest of the seven magical realms of Faery, where a human girl called Mouse serves in the home of the High Lord. Drawn into a changeling bond when she was just a child, Mouse was spirited away to the Autumn Realm and raised by the Folk. A life among faeries is all she's ever known...
And then a blue moon rises on the eve the High Lord announces Mouse's changeling is returning to Faery and strange things begin to happen—a human is caught sneaking through the faerie gate, the Autumn Prince takes a sudden interest in her, a mysterious creature tries to kill her, and a nightmare begins haunting her sleep.
Something sinister is happening in the Autumn Realm and Mouse must do all she can to protect not only her life, but the life of her changeling.
Assume the role of Mouse, the human half of a changeling pair who was raised by faeries in the Autumn Realm. Spend time with your pixie mother Talindra, a surly satyr named Fenn, the High Lord of Autumn, a temperamental cait sidhe, and many other faeries as you uncover the truth about what dark plot is unfolding in the Autumn Realm and fall in love with one of two handsome princes...
A strange human from across the Veil who calls himself Anders has landed himself in the High Lord's dungeons. What is he doing in the Autumn Realm and what is his connection to Mouse's changeling?
No one knows where Raethorn, Prince of the Autumn Realm, has been for the last few decades, but since his return to Harvest Hall, he hasn't once spared Mouse a second glance. Until now.
Everfall is currently in development with 2/10 chapters available to play as part of the demo.

It's interesting to see what a human in Fairie have grown up as.
I wonder if she gained some special skill.... Humans taken by the Fae usually do.
(Although the only story I can recall was the boy who became a master blacksmith as he was working for a Fae blacksmith.
He never spoke a single word after being 'rescued' from the Fae, but one day --for reasons I forget-- he took up the blacksmith hammer and crafted...something... with more skills than even the best human blacksmith. I think it was jewelry that the village blacksmith kept failing at. I forget if he started to speak after that, or was forever silent.)
The artwork here is not as good as in Evernight.
The propotions of the bodies are a little bit off in a strange way.
Not intentionally either I think, as the human is as well.
The hands are too large for their bodies.
The game is well written tho...
I'm suddenly scared they'll try and kick her out into the scary human world.
That'd be ten times as scary if it was the modern world! O_O
....and super-sad.
(And then she'd probably do some fae magic she didn't even consider magic because everyone does it, and have to run from human agencies who want to experiment on her, and try to get back to Farie with the help of her new human friend who's, like, a new age witch or something. lol
But that sounds like a whole other adventure.)
I want to smack the MC for making such a terrible deal. /facepalm
Granted, I've studied demons and demon pacts, so perhaps someone less focused on the details can't see it.... Or maybe she's just a fool.
Without an added time-limit on HER offering, she might as well have signed her own death warrant anyway.
(Not to mention it could easily have been a trick to force her into the deal to begin with.)
Will this game ever come on Steam?

Thank you for playing the Everfall demo! Currently the game is still being worked on. I had to take a hiatus due to a real life issue, but work will resume soon. And yes, Mouse is in a heap of trouble after such a deal, isn't she? She will be staying in Faery, but that's a really interesting adventure you came up with! :) As for will it come to Steam, I'm not sure. Once we finish it, I might look into releasing it and Evernight to Steam.
I look forward to that then. ^_^
